CHANDIGARH: Every time Mahendra Singh Dhoni changes his hairstyle, there is an army of young men sporting the same look. There is no denying that his hairstyles result in fashion trends and animated discussions and even heads of state have not been immune to the charm of his wayward locks. Pakistan's former President Pervez Musharraf had once famously commented, 'I saw a placard which said, 'Dhoni have a haircut.' If you want to take my opinion, you look good...

Don't have a haircut.'
And the World Cup-winning captain of the Indian cricket team has not disappointed when it comes to variety, having donned many hairstyles, right from the long-haired look to a short crop, to the recently acquired bald look.
While he has been loved in all his avatars, his female fans in the Tricity seem to like him the best in short hair that he sported during the World Cup.
But his fans were surprised as soon after the win, Dhoni shaved off his hair. 'Had he asked us, we would never have advised him to shave his head. He was looking so cool with his short crop,' said Aditi Aggarwal, a student, who is a die-hard Dhoni fan.
Another young fan, Reena Rathod, said Dhoni looks stylish, in whatever hairstyle he sports. 'He looked quite dashing even when he sported long locks. But short hair works the best for him,' she trilled.
Sabrina, a young Dhoni fan from the United Kingdom, who is staying in the same hotel where Dhoni and his team are putting up too felt that captain cool should not have shaved his head. She also has a word of advice for him saying that he should not change his look frequently. 'After winning big tournaments he keeps on changing his hairstyle. I wish he gets back to his short crop,' she said.

Ekta Sharma, a student said, 'His current look is the best, but it's good that he keeps experimenting with his looks.'
'Dhoni's short hair brought luck to the team as we won the World Cup against Sri Lanka. I hope the winning streak continues with Dhoni's new look,' said Neha Chaudhary, 22, a young professional working in a PR agency.
Dhoni's hairstyles may be much debated upon among his female fans, but they are unanimous in their opinion that he it's a delight to watch him play whatever his hairstyle.
